Christian Dramas
Project 521 offers a series of Christian dramas which are based on the real-life experiences of Bill Bowdoin while directing an inner-city ministry project. His dramatic street gang experiences as he was out sharing the gospel show how God Is Able to deliver those in need.
Our Christian Dramas are a trilogy, available in various lengths. The Chase is the story about the beginning stages and early growth of a volunteer inner-city ministry the author directed while a ministry student. The author is actually chased by a street gang and it tells how his life was spared by God. The Wallet shows the huge growth of Project 521 as 100-150 fellow students became involved. The author not only directs the ministry but also personally targets the street gangs to talk about Christ, and several conversions result. In The Rumble, a rumble is actually witnessed, the author’s life is spared from the gangs, and again some turn to Christ.
Message of our Dramas
The purpose of our Christian Dramas is to give drama groups an opportunity to present the gospel and to show that God is Able to do more than we ask or think! Our hope is to tell the stories of how God is able to do great things in the inner-city.
